Smarter Way: an AI publishing platform I built and run
Most companies are still asking whether AI can do real work. I built a system that does it: Smarter Way writes, illustrates, translates, and publishes a full catalog of books — at a scale and cost no manual team could match.
Smarter Way is a digital publisher of illustrated books on personal growth — stories for children (ages 6–14) about courage, friendship, and finding their voice, plus reflective reads for adults. Free to read online, with paid editions on Kindle, Google Play, and Kobo. It looks like a publishing house. Under the hood, it’s an AI pipeline I designed and operate.
How it works
- Generation: stories and book text are produced and structured by an AI workflow I built — not hand-written one at a time.
- Illustration: cover art and imagery are AI-generated to match each book’s theme and audience.
- Localization: the catalog is produced in multiple languages, expanding reach without multiplying the work.
- Publishing: everything is assembled into a 400+ page static site and distributed to major stores — the whole pipeline runs from a single source of truth.
